Week 20 – Governmental Prayer Watch

God is in charge of the season of political leaders.

Eccl. 5:2b  (The message)  “Don’t be too quick to tell God what you think he wants to hear.  God’s in charge, not you….”

This is the Word of the Lord with regards to the attacks that we can see on political leaders all over the spectrum.  God is in charge.  He has a plan and a purpose for these leaders and we need to pray that God plans for them will prevail and that the enemy will not remove them out of their positions before God’s purposes for their positions have been realised.

God says that when the enemy comes in like a flood that He will raise the standard.  We need to understand the authority that is within us, like the soldier in Matthews 8 who told Jesus that he need not come to his house to heal his daughter, because he understands how authority works and Jesus answered him “All that you have believed for will be done to you.”

Let us raise our level of faith and let us not grow weary of doing what is right in this war against crime (2 Th 3:13).  And the Lord’s instruction relating this battle is to declare His Peace as his weapons are not like that of the world.

2 Thesalonians 3:16  “May the Lord of peace pour into South Africa His peace in every circumstance and in every possible way.”

God’s plans for our economy is good.  Let us prophesy it over South Africa and the economic plans of Minister Mboweni.  This plan is the first building block in righting the economy.

Zachariah 1:16b-17 (The Message):  “The rebuilding operation is already staked out.  Say it again – a Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies: ‘My cities will prosper again, God will comfort Zion again, Jerusalem will be back in my favour again.’”
