Good day prayer warriors. All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus Christ. What a privilege as sons and daughters to be given the right to use that awesome name. So, let us pray fervently to push back and frustrate the works of darkness in Jesus Mighty Name!!

  1. The Economy: Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 21:5

The economy is facing many challenges with unemployment at an 11-year high. Pray for the right economic policies and reforms to be implemented in our nation so that our economy can grow and unemployment be reduced. It is the will of God for or nation and its people to prosper so that the various needs can be met. Pray against indecision, procrastination, stagnation and corruption. Pray for growth in small to medium businesses. May God have mercy on South Africa and turn our economy around.

  1. Agriculture/Farmers: Deuteronomy 28:12, Psalm 121:1-2

Many farming regions are experiencing drought conditions and good rains are needed. Africa should be the breadbasket of the world and South Africa is called to be a pioneer in agricultural production and development. Pray that God would open the heavens and bring good rainfall to our nation, especially to the drought-stricken farms. Pray that farmers would not lose hope. Pray that God would give farmers wisdom and understanding in these tough times. Pray for the prosperity of small emerging farmers.

  1. Families: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Matthew 19:6, Isaiah 54:17

Many families are facing serious challenges with their finances, health and relationships. The enemy is using these difficult times to cause tension and pressure resulting in sickness and crises in families. Pray against the schemes and plans of the enemy. Ask God to give fathers and mothers the wisdom needed to make the right decisions. Ask God to speak to families in dreams and visions that will give clear direction. Pray against sickness, disease, frustration, setback and failure.
